Why does my AI video pour the coffee into the cup?
Video models learned that coffee goes into mugs, so they quietly fix the mistake the trend is about. Prompts help a little; a timeline that names every miss helps more. Here every spoonful is already set to miss and the milk only comes once the mug is moved away.

Why it happens
- Most videos of coffee being made end with coffee in the mug.
- "Tip it beside the mug" is a small detail next to "add coffee".
- Long videos drift: a miss at 2 seconds can turn into a hit by 9.
- Some models add a second, full mug at the end to "finish" the scene.
If you prompt it yourself
- Write every spoonful as a miss, with a time: "at 2 s the coffee lands beside the mug".
- Have the mug moved away before the milk, and say there is only one mug.
- Keep the camera fixed and the shot single (our prompt).
